In the world of showbiz, if you don't have enemies, you aren't high profile.  It's a law of numbers that the more people that know (of) you, the more people that are going to hate (on) you.

The trick is not to make enemies, the goal is to get attention, and use the attention of your enemies/haters to your own advantage.
