Postmodernism # 2

A tsunami of change is gathering pace just of the shores of common thought. The world is changing at a dramatic and quickening pace, technologically, politically, spiritually, physically and fundamentally. All the rules seem to have gone out the window; or maybe the window is being pushed open and all the rules are drifting out? One thing is certian, rules are breaking, things are shaking and common thought is under attack, the world is about to change dramatically or we are about to realize the fact that it already has changed, right before our eyes.

What is Postmodern? It’s what comes after the modern

When you look around does it look like the world is a crazy place? The world is so contradictory, so juxaposed. One day you will open your eyes, you will rub them and look around.

Before the Post
Our world has been around for millions of years and countless empires have risen and fallen throughout all of this time. Religions, sciences, philosophies, and ideologies have come and gone, changed and evolved, and reality itself has forever been a questionable/ambiguous/abstract concept linked closely to the ruling empire or ‘order’ and its ideology. Egypt and Greece lead to the Roman empire which was in itself simultaneously an ideology, a religion, an empire, and a world order. Rome created most European cities and brought the studies and philosophies of Egypt and Greece (Astronomy and architecture, Plato and Aristotle... Aristo crazy) to these new centers of learning and study. Rome was reality, it was the ‘order’ for millennia. The fall of Rome lead to a ‘paradigm
