If President Bush had given the speech he gave this year, back in 2002 or 2003 imagine how much stronger America would be?
No more pork, or hidden unapproved funding schemes...
End dependence on foreign oil and energy...
Developing renewable energy sources...
Funding math and science...
Getting Stem cell research going...
Working towards a world solution for addressing global climate change...
Drawing down the troops in Iraq and stabilizing the country....
We would be so much better off, I think it's almost indisputable.
